The Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative provides three awards to filmmakers annually at the Atlantic International Film Festival in September that supports the future projects of three Atlantic Canadian filmmakers (not restricted to Nova Scotia) through the Linda Joy Awards and the Helen Hill Award.

DEADLINE APRIL 6TH, 2026 11:59PM AST

As an Industry Partner, AFCOOP has the ability to nominate one production in the Main component and one production in the Indigenous component of the Telefilm Talent to Watch program. Filmmakers have until April 4th, 11:59pm to submit their application to AFCOOP. Nomination decisions will be made by a peer-jury.
